“Tomma is back”: the double return between the field and the bench of Laura Tommasella

Smells like legend spirit. Laura Tommasella – it is even almost strange to call it that: in the rossoblù environment, and not only, it is for everyone simply “La Tomma” – does not leave e, rather, doubles. In addition to binding on the field to the Permac colors for a’another sporting year, thus extending his extraordinary football career, the midfielder-flag class 1981 of San Donà di Piave will be the technical manager of training this season junior vittoriese.

A real return to the future after the brilliant results achieved this season 2018-19, when between camp (second place and semi-final of the Italian Cup of C) and bench (national final Primavera vanished by a whisker in the double confrontation with Turin) the multitasking debut of player-coach Tommasella was dedicated to results of the highest level.

These are the words of the number 22 Red Blue: “Before the summer I had decided to leave room for the younger players and, Consequently, to close my twenty-year career on the pitch to dedicate myself to a future as a coach. Thrust, in particular, from the relationship of deep esteem and affection with the president Patrizia Ferro, I chose to get back into the game to offer my contribution of experience to the company after these months of extreme difficulty. It will be a very challenging season, given the double engagement between the field and the bench, but with enthusiasm and dedication I will try to give my best as always to obtain the best possible results on both fronts.”
